DAILY HOMEWORK LOG This is mainly a resource to help keep parents informed of what students should be working on each evening. Students should already have their agenda with them when they arrive at home, and they should have copied homework off the board at the beginning of class. MAKEUP WORK If you are absent, make sure you follow the correct steps to make up your work. There are TWO. Do these two steps before class starts or right after class ends. I will write you a pass if you need one! :) Remember, finding out and completing makeup work is your responsibility.
Step #1. Check the “Makeup Instructions” board, get the handouts you need, and write down what you need to do in your agenda book.
Step #2. Bring your handouts up to me before or after class to make sure you understand what you need to do. If you forgot to do step 1, I will just remind you to do that first. Two incorrect ways of finding out makeup Work -Asking a friend. No good. They probably will forget something! Remember, your makeup work is your responsibility. :)
-Guessing and hoping everything turns out ok. As a general rule in life, this is never a good idea!
