Relay for Life TEAM!
Many of you have been asking what you can do for the Relay for Life Event on May 19th and 20th, so here is a short list!
The event starts at Noon on May 19th and runs continuously for 18 hours until 6am May 20th at Olentangy High School's track.
This event will have a car show, street hockey, bounce houses, chili cook-off, a dance competition, water balloon toss, hula hoop, Mountain Dew chugging contests, and much more!
Other contests include dressing up in your pajamas, Disney character, favorite sports team, and camoflage laps!
What our OLMS Team still needs:
9am - Noon: 4 Adults and several students to help set-up.
Noon - 6am: Juice sales at our tent: 2 adults and several students each hour to help sell juice.
Noon - 6am: WALKERS!!! Represent OLMS!!! We need at least 2 walkers on the track for each hour. Sign up by emailing Jason Durell.
First come, first serve!
Juice!!! We will be selling juice (lemonade, fruit punch,) during the event so we need already made juice donated in easy to pour containers (plastic pitchers with lids, big Gatorade jugs, etc.).
Coolers with Ice: 2 large coolers with ice that can be served with the juice.
Props! We need plenty of colorful props to compete with the other groups for the various contests.
5am-7am: Clean-up; 4 adults and several (awake) students.
And, as always..we need DONATIONS!!! This helps sponsor all forms of cancer research. Any amount is accepted.
Buy Luminarias for $10 each to help Honor or Remeber a loved one.
These will be lit at dusk and stationed around the track at night. It's an amazing display if you've never seen it.
Buy a sign to remember a loved one or to show your family or company's support!
Signs are $100 and can be customized with your own saying.
ALL LUMINARIA, SIGN, AND DONATED MONEY GOES DIRECTLY TO THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY.
